Key Features

Glycolic Acid (AHA)

Exfoliating agent to remove dead skin cells and promote cell renewal.

  • Enhances epidermal turnover, reducing hyperkeratosis and improving skin texture.; Results in smoother, brighter skin with a reduced appearance of dark spots and a more even skin tone.

Mechanism of Action: Glycolic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that penetrates the stratum corneum and weakens the bonds between corneocytes, facilitating desquamation and stimulating new cell generation. Enhances epidermal turnover, reducing hyperkeratosis and improving skin texture.

Mandelic Acid

Exfoliating agent with antibacterial properties.

  • Provides gentle exfoliation suitable for sensitive skin.; Helps reduce acne and blemishes.; Leaves skin smoother and clearer with reduced imperfections.

Mechanism of Action: Mandelic acid is a larger AHA that exfoliates the skin more gently. It breaks down the bonds between dead skin cells and has antibacterial effects, making it beneficial for acne-prone skin.

Gluconolactone

Polyhydroxy acid (PHA) that gently exfoliates and hydrates.

  • Suitable for sensitive skin due to its gentle action.; Provides antioxidant benefits.; Enhances skin hydration and leaves skin feeling soft and supple.

Mechanism of Action: Gluconolactone exfoliates the skin by chelating metal ions and inhibiting the formation of free radicals. It also has humectant properties, attracting moisture to the skin.

Dimethicone

Skin conditioning agent and emollient.

  • Enhances skin smoothness and provides a silky feel.; Leaves skin feeling smooth and reduces the appearance of fine lines.

Mechanism of Action: Forms a protective barrier on the skin, preventing moisture loss and improving texture.

Glycerin

Humectant for skin hydration.

  • Promotes skin elasticity and aids in barrier repair.; Provides long-lasting moisturization, resulting in smoother skin.

Mechanism of Action: Glycerin attracts and retains moisture from the environment into the skin, enhancing hydration levels.

Isodecyl Neopentanoate

Emollient that provides a silky feel.

  • Enhances product texture and skin feel.; Provides a smooth, non-greasy application experience.

Mechanism of Action: Offers lightweight moisturization without greasiness, improving product spreadability.
