  • Reduces redness, improves skin barrier function, and evens skin tone.; Results in healthier, more resilient skin with reduced redness.

Mechanism of Action: Niacinamide inhibits the transfer of melanosomes to keratinocytes, reducing pigmentation. It also enhances ceramide synthesis, improving the skin barrier, and exhibits anti-inflammatory properties by inhibiting cytokine production.

Glycyrrhetinic Acid and Ammonium Glycyrrhizate

Anti-inflammatory and soothing agents derived from licorice root.

  • Soothes irritated skin and reduces redness.; Provides relief from discomfort and improves skin appearance.

Diacetyl Boldine

Tyrosinase inhibitor for depigmentation

  • Effectively decreases melanin production.; Leads to a reduction in dark spots and more even skin tone.

Mechanism of Action: Diacetyl Boldine inhibits tyrosinase activity, the key enzyme in melanin synthesis, thereby reducing the production of melanin.

Trimethoxybenzyl Acetylsinapate (Sinapic Acid Derivative)

Antioxidant and melanin synthesis inhibitor.

  • Protects skin from oxidative damage.; Reduces melanin synthesis.; Helps to diminish existing dark spots and prevent new ones.

Mechanism of Action: Acts as an antioxidant and inhibits tyrosinase activity, reducing melanin production. It helps to protect the skin from oxidative stress that can trigger hyperpigmentation.

Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Butter

Moisturizing and nourishing agent

  • Improves skin barrier function and soothes irritation.; Leaves skin feeling soft, supple, and well-hydrated.

Mechanism of Action: Rich in fatty acids and vitamins, shea butter penetrates the skin to provide deep hydration and forms a protective barrier to prevent moisture loss.
